It's definitely been the summer of pirates, and the flood of merchandise still isn't quite over. NECA is now shipping their second series of figures based on the second film, Dead Man's Chest, and it includes another Jack (not reviewed), Elizabeth in her pirate duds, and Palifico. Oh, and Bootstrap Bill as well! I have a review up tonight of three of the four, since I couldn't quite bring myself to buy Jack. Still, after getting these out and assembling the bases with those that came with series 1, I think the draw to pick up Jack is getting stronger. I'd like to finish the island scene!

You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Well, I saw the two up at SDCC. I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the base...it would make sense though for them to continue the bases where they could. He wasn't on the 'map' of the diorama layout from series 1, but I should see if there was another map with series 2. I tossed the packaging pretty quick, but it should still be in the garbage can

like I said at the Pit... Pal, Swann and Bill for me.

btw, I think that Norrington might also go with the island scene. have you seen the pics of him and his base from SDCC?
